Anmida's New Website Design

Posted by Misty Beier at 04:31 PM 0 Comments

Anmida is the company of my husband and I. I finally had some time to get the design developed. The site won't be launched for a few weeks but here is the test site: http://misty-beier.com/anmida/.

Anmida was created to bring together the web development services my husband and I have to offer to small businesses. The name Anmida was formed from the first 2 letters of Andre, Misty and Dania Beach - An Mi Da. We provide services like blogging, CMS, ecommerce, database-driven web applications, hosting, email, SEO and graphic design.

Our philosophy is simple:
We design and build quality websites. Anmida has a passion to build dynamic and custom websites and intelligent software without skimping on details.

Trendy JetBlue and their user-friendly flight map

Posted by Misty Beier at 03:39 PM 0 Comments

I checked out JetBlue's website and found their flight map to be awesome. It's trendy and much more user-friendly than the UI other airlines have so not just travel agents can use it.

It's how booking a flight online was meant to be!

Welcome to My New Website!

Posted by Misty Beier at 02:05 AM 0 Comments

Well, after 3 years I finally decided to update my site with a new look. I kept some of the design elements from the old site, like the leaves and pencil, but scaled them down and used them as decoration for the headings. And don't worry if you liked the old site; I'll put it in my portfolio.

A few things about the new site I want to share is that I was wanting it to "breathe" and be easy on the eyes. I used colors from my logo and background images from the old site to stay with the nature theme. And I wanted to keep it simple for visitors to read and find information quickly. Also, there aren't any flashy buttons or backgrounds. My portfolio items can take care of that.
